Sara Bailey Cote started as a competitive roller skater at the age of seven and switched to the ice when she was 13. Specializing in partnered ice dance, she qualified for the USFS National Championships five times, medaling twice, and was selected to compete internationally on Team USA for three years. After retiring from competitive skating, Sara toured Europe for nine months with the professional show company Holiday On Ice: Speed. She has since settled down in Connecticut to focus on her coaching career and has been coaching the UConn figure skating team for five years.
